On February 21, 2016, the 1st International Ice Race “Vladivostok Ice Run” will be held. This will mark the start of the annual ice-race festival, due to take place in the waters of Vladivostok and on the Island of Russky. All participants are guaranteed excitement and many unforgettable memories!
Ice race “Vladivostok Ice Run” will become an international event, which will attract more and more participants from Russia and from other countries each year.
You are invited to be a part of the competition by trying out one of the three offered races: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km race.
Half-marathon is a real treat for all fans of racing, regardless of their level of preparation. If you are still hesitating about the race, try the 5km race. Add one or two months of a treadmill workout and you will be sure to conquer the distance of 10km. Even a novice runner could cover a distance of 21 km after a few months of training.
Set yourself an ambitious goal and channel into the stream of sports enthusiasts and new experiences. We also have much to offer for experienced athletes: an interesting route, timing system MYLAPS, and of course, the professional organization of the race.
For all participants, we have prepared an interesting program before, during and after the race with a unique flavor. At the finish, all participants will receive a medal in memory of their achievement!
The route will pass through a bay, Novik, on the Island of Russky. Throughout the race, kilometer indicators will be posted, and at every 5 km, there will be tents with hot tea and food.
Main surface of the track: ice and snow.
