In the Maritime State University (MSU). adm. G. Nevelsky full swing preparing for the implementation of a scientific expedition «Far Eastern Floating University» in the Arctic at UPS «Professor Hlyustin». Currently being tested new quadrocopter to be used for unique research in the Arctic, informs «Pacific Russia».
These tests take place in the framework of the implementation of an award RNF «Development of new methods of research and robotic systems to ensure the safety of navigation of the real-time monitoring of maritime and underwater environment in the Arctic» and the Federal Target Program «Development of hardware and software to ensure the safety of navigation and environmental safety the Arctic».
Tested a new unique unmanned aerial vehicle that is designed to measure the thickness of ice and hydrocarbon content in seawater.
In the preparations for the expedition occupied a large group of students and graduate students of Moscow State University. adm. GI Nevelsky. Among them, the student Denis Korovetsky Engineering that deals with all the technical part and the control unit. Copter on the test will be set for the complex electromagnetic sounding of ice thickness. For this research laboratory is responsible of the Information Security Research Institute REC AIT MT Alex pepper.

Also in the team for the implementation of these tests include graduate student Michael Markin, who works under the supervision of a senior researcher Research Institute of Maritime Transport VP Tikhomirov.
