2nd final round of the Far East the Chinese language contest was launched in Vladivostok

The 2nd final round of the Chinese language contest among students of colleges and educational institutions of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia for the prize of the Confucius Institute launched in Vladivostok. 120 students from 10 cities in the Far East took part in the competition, informs «Pacific Russia».

The organizer of this competition is traditionally made by the Confucius Institute of the Far Eastern Federal University, with the assistance of Headquarters Confucius Institutes (Hanban). Welcomed the participants were Vice President for Academic and educational work FEFU Igor Soppa, deputy director of the Department of Education and Science of the Primorsky Territory Administration Catherine Chernivtsi, as well as Director of the Confucius Institute FEFU with Chinese and Russian side.

Teacher Vladivostok school №9 with in-depth study of the Chinese language Olga Savchuk: «Today, 25 of the best students of our school came to the competition held by the Confucius Institute. We have good cooperation with them for many years».

On the way to the final 120 participants overcame the qualifying round, which was attended by 1,277 students from 25 schools in Vladivostok, Ussuriisk, Khabarovsk, Chita, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Blagoveshchensk, Ulan-Ude, Yakutsk and other cities of the Far East.

Confucius Institute FEFU conducting such contests since 2007. This year the competition received a new name — «Prize of the Confucius Institute». The main prize for the winners of 2015 will be a two-week trip to summer camp in China.
