
Vladivostok held a working meeting of lawyers from Japan and Primorye’s lawyers. The meeting was held in the office on the street. Svetlanskaya. On the Japanese side was represented by a delegation of lawyers in Hokkaido. All of them are quite extensive experience in the law field. The Russian side was represented by the president of the Bar Chamber of Primorsky Krai (APPC) Boris Mints, two vice-presidents APPC — Vladimir Melnikov and Paul Obushny, head of the law firm Olga Sidelnikova lawyer Angela Norina, which is actively engaged in international legal cooperation. In legal practice, which is headed by Angela Norina, works seaside lawyer Sergey Milanov, which can be considered a rarity in the field of international law: as an ethnic Bulgarian, he works in Tokyo in the status of APPC lawyer, fluent in four languages (Russian, English, Japanese, Bulgarian), provides legal advice on the laws of the United States and Japan. So extensive international contacts with the Bar coastal APR — a long-standing tradition.
Lawyers for the first time in Japan, namely Sapporo, visited Vladivostok in 2006. And nine years later, they again visited with a working visit the regional center of Primorye.
According to Boris Mintseva previously lawyers from Primorye to share experiences with their Japanese colleagues visited Tokyo. And in general, at the seaside of the Bar has established relationships with lawyers USA, China, South Korea and Japan. And it is not just a meeting — it is agreed in writing on international mutual legal assistance.
At the meeting raised issues relating to the rights of Russian sailors, detained and arrested in Japan; security issues Japanese business in Russia, the legal aspects of the decision of divorce cases between citizens of Japan and Russia, as well as legal issues division of the estate, debt repayment; issues relating to the conclusion of commercial contracts, security of ships and vessels in the organization of the conference, as well as rates for legal services in Russia and Japan.
As noted last Boris Mints, such meetings are important for strengthening cooperation and development prospects in the law sphere between Russia and Japan by sharing experiences.
In general, the meeting was held in a warm and relaxed atmosphere: not only officialdom as a conversation over a cup of tea, accompanied by mutual smiles and pleasantries.
Such meetings will continue to occur — in this clash between coastal and Japanese lawyers.
