The Russians believe that the most friendly relations in the Russian Federation are added at the moment with China, Belarus and Kazakhstan, and the most hostile — with the United States. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM). As follows from the study, answering the question of which countries can be called the most friendly to Russia, 51% of respondents named China. Moreover, experts VTsIOM six years this share has increased more than doubled — from 23% in 2008, informs «Pacific Russia».

The top three countries with which, according to the Russians, we have especially warm relations, also includes Belarus (32%) and Kazakhstan (20%). Sociologists point out that — compared to 2008 — these states began to rank as a friend Russia were significantly more likely (if these figures were 14% and 8%, respectively).

Meanwhile, Germany is now perceived as a friend of Russia, only 2% of respondents, while in 2008 the figure was 17%.

The main enemy of Russia as Russians still believe the United States. At the same time, if six years ago so thought a quarter of respondents (25% in 2008), but today the figure — already three-quarters (73% in 2014).

Also significantly increased the proportion of those who celebrate the extremely strained relations between Russia and Ukraine (from 21 to 32%).

The initiative VTsIOM survey, 1,600 people participated in 132 settlements of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.5%, according to TASS.
