• Pacific vector of relations between Russia and the United States is poorly developed. Both parties base their policy in the region in more global and European projections than in the Asia-Pacific. The low level of mutual interest of the local population, government and business, and lack of support from Moscow and Washington led to small scale interaction between the Pacific territories of the two states.
