Полноценное производство вакцины «Спутник-V» отечественной биотехнологической компании BIOCAD удалось развернуть в сжатые сроки. Уже в текущем декабре на фирменных мощностях планируют выпустить один миллион доз препарата, информирует «Тихоокеанская Россия», ТоРосс.
«Решение о производстве вакцины «Спутник-V» на мощностях BIOCAD было принято ещё в начале сентября, — рассказал генеральный директор компании Дмитрий Морозов. — В проектах по вакцинам задействовано более четырёхсот наших сотрудников и инвестировано уже порядка пятисот миллионов рублей собственных средств».
Соглашение с Центром имени Гамалеи компания BIOCAD подписала 21 сентября 2020 года, а чуть позже, на пленарном заседании XIII Петербургского международного инновационного форума, в компании сообщили, что уже в декабре этого года планируется выпустить 1 миллион доз вакцины. Со временем BIOCAD намерена нарастить объём выпуск до 3-4 миллионов доз в месяц для того, чтобы максимально содействовать закрытию внутренней потребность страны в вакцине.
14 декабря производственная площадка биотехнологической компании BIOCAD была включена в регистрационное удостоверение Центра им. Гамалеи на производство вакцины от коронавируса «Спутник-V». Министр здравоохранения Российской Федерации Михаил Мурашко сообщил, что вакцину от коронавируса доставили во все регионы России, вакцинация началась во всех субъектах страны.
