Primorsky Krai (Russia) in 2015 significantly exceeded the figures for the number of citizens who came to the region in the framework of the state program on assistance to voluntary resettlement of compatriots from abroad. Instead of the planned beginning of the year 1257 people came to the region 3760, informs «Pacific Russia».

The results of the project, participants reviewed the interdepartmental commission, which was held in the Administration of Territory under the chairmanship of Vice-Governor Pavel Serebryakov.

«A significant increase in the number of immigrants was due to the Ukrainians. And this year, about 70 percent arrived in Primorye for permanent residence are citizens of the regions of the former Soviet states, mainly from the south-east of Ukraine. There are families from Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Belarus, Turkmenistan and other countries», — said Deputy Director of the Department of Labour and Social Development Elena Magerchuk.

This year, the adaptation of migrants sent to 9.3 billion rubles. This means for one-time payments for the housing arrangement, which has to learn about 320 persons, as well as the direction of vocational training.

One of the positive aspects of the implementation of sub-program of resettlement in 2015 was the expansion of the areas of introduction from 19 to 26 municipalities. The list appeared Dalnerechensk and Lesozavodsk and the Kirov, Nadezhda, St. Michael, Khasan and Khanka areas.

Traditionally popular program participants Artemovskii, Nakhodka and Ussuriysk city district. Here, it has a low unemployment rate and a large number of job vacancies.

Another important result, which is expected from the implementation of the program — to attract to the region more skilled workforce. Pavel Serebryakov said that compatriots, many of whom are of working age, with vocational education, good talent pool for the region’s economy.

«Positions on the labor market of Primorye enough. The main task today — to help people as quickly as possible to rebuild their lives from scratch, find a decent job. If necessary, provide further training on actual specialties for us», — he stressed.

Finally, the vice-governor thanked for the constructive cooperation of all ministries that work with immigrants.

«In Primorye, responsible attitude to the implementation of the program. Proof of this — the number of participants who are willing to change nationality, to move us along with their families. And we must give them the opportunity to provide government support to protect people from the surprises that may arise in the new location», — he said.
