ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final 2015 began in Vladivostok (Russia)

For reference, the match race is a competition between the two crews on the boats of one class (the competitions in Vladivostok — Platu 25). The winner is the one who will overcome the distance faster than rivals. This is traditionally the start of the wind. Usually one match-race lasts about 13 minutes. ISAF Nations Cup was first presented to the world in 1991. Trophy is played every two years. The tournament involved in open carriages (mixed or male crews) and women’s classes. The regional stage of the competition is preceded by the official seminar of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF), aimed at increasing the skill level of boaters and judging. The purpose of the ISAF Nations Cup — increased accessibility match play racing and creating conditions for identifying the strongest crews of the world, as well as providing incentives for the development of match play in races around the world.

- Africa: Tunisia, March 16-20. Winner — Mohamed Kamel Souissi (Tunisia)
— Asia: Bahrain, April 22-26. Winner — Kohei Ichikawa (Japan)
— Europe: Ireland, May 7-10. Winners: Pierre Rimbach (France) and Pauline Courtois (France)
— North America and Caribbean countries: USA, California, May 28-31
— Oceania: Australia, 27 February — 2 March
— South America: Argentina, April 2-5 (canceled)
