Russia and China have agreed on the schedule of the first joint expedition to perpetuate the memory of Soviet soldiers who died in China, said Deputy Defense Minister Gen. Dmitry Bulgakov, informs «Pacific Russia».
The expedition will be working in Muling County Mudantszyan County, Heilongjiang Province. Search expeditions carried out with the direct active participation of the Russian Embassy in China and the representative of the Defense Ministry to conduct military memorial work in China.
«Adjusted time of the main part of the search expedition — from May 11 to June 10, 2015. The Russian side will work to carry out a search party Consolidated Amur region of 17 people», — said Bulgakov.
In the squad includes representatives of associations of cities in search (Blagoveshchensk, Szymanowski Belogorska) and districts (Zavitinsk, Mazanovskogo, Belogorsk) the Amur region, as well as employees’ center for the conservation of historical and cultural heritage of the Amur region «and Amur Office forensics, as well as students of History and Philology Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University.
On the Chinese side in the conduct of the expedition was attended by representatives of the authorities and services Muling County District Mudanjiang, archaeological group of the Institute of History of the University and students of Heilongjiang Mudanjiang Normal University.
«In September 2015 the results of the expedition found the remains of Soviet soldiers will be reburied in the territory of the People’s Republic saluting military honors», — said the deputy minister.
Bulgakov also spoke about the results of prospecting work carried out to prepare for the expedition in the county Moulin.
