Konstantin Shestakov, the Director of the Tourist Department of the Primorsky Territory conducted a working meeting with the Consul General of Vietnam in Vladivostok Chan Tran Duy Thi, informs «Pacific Russia».

The parties discussed a bilateral cooperation in tourism development. One of the results of the meeting is an Agreement on XIX Pacific International Tourist Exhibition (PITE) business program.

«We agreed on round table conducting where will be presented tourist potential of Primorye and Vietnam. The discussion will be useful for all parties. Preliminarily we will channel information about our touristic resources to the Consulate General. This data will be send among tourist organizations of Vietnam» – the Department Director noted.

Also the participants of the meeting agreed to work on student exchange establishing and development of joint programs on touristic services quality improvement.

Note that nowadays had been received more than 70 applications on participation in PITE exhibition which will be held in Primorye in May 21-23. During the meeting tourist companies, health resorts, rest centers, national parks and other objects of touristic sector of the Primorsky Territory will present the widest specter of tourist services in Primorye. In particular there will be presented ecological, historical and patriotic tourism, beach-related rest, visits to reserves, natural parks and many other. For the first time in exhibition will be presented tourist routes of Russia regions.

The main theme for discussion was in the exhibition events will be development of interregional cooperation in tourism. In the framework of PITE will be held forum «Development of Cooperation between the Regions of the Russia Federation in Incoming and External Tourism sector».

Additionally you can get know the recreation offers of tourist companies from Thailand, Vietnam, Guam (the USA), Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Northern Mariana Islands, Singapore, Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Macao and other countries. Also the negotiations with European and Latin American countries representatives are in the process.
