Last year, the University has allocated a room on the fifth floor of the museum complex NEFU under the projected area of ​​134 square meters facility. m. was repaired, bought laboratory furniture, Korean partners at their own expense equipment purchased for the study of cells of a mammoth.

According to the head of the South Korean fund biotechnology research Sooam Hwang Woo Sok, a study should be carried out on the mammoths of the territory where they are found. Therefore, the Fund began a collaboration with NEFU to establish such a center.
