Scientists of the Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University (MSU) and their colleagues at the Korea Maritime Institute held a workshop on the details of the project of a joint research center. During the meeting, it was decided to carry out the necessary organizational work to open the center in mid-summer 2015, in conjunction with the presentation of the annual Russian-Korean economic forum, informs «Pacific Russia».

The format of the center is going through mutual agreement. Proposed to create an international staff that will work on the basis of the Maritime University. Range of topics of research for the first period of the project is related to the Northern Sea Route and the investment potential of the business community of the Republic of Korea.
