The Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevskiy appointed Vataliy Verkeyenko to the office of the Director of the Projects and Strategic Development Department, informs «Pacific Russia».

Mr. Verkeyenko was born in 1973 in the family of military man. In 1997 he graduated from the Far Eastern National University with a specialization in «Minicipal Administration», qualified as «Politologist and Jurisprudent». Also Mr. Varkeyenko finished postgraduate courses on economic programs» in Higher Commercial School under the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade, Tallinn Business School, Japan Business Center in Vladivostok and other. He is at home with English and Japanese languages.

Earlier Mr. Verkeyenko was the CEO of OOO «Techholding Summotori» and STC «Primorye’s Ring».

In the framework of public activity he participated in the work of Public Expert Councils on investments and transport policy under the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevskiy and also in the expert group of the Strategic Initiatives Agency. He is a benefactor – co-founder of the Charity Fund «Obereg» helping kids met with accident.

Note that big rotation was carried out by Vladimir Miklushevskiy on February 10. Just then he declared the creation of a new Department of Projects and Strategic Development in the structure of the regional Administration.

«A new project Department will face a hard work. In addition to forming of strategic development points of the region it should implement principium of project management to the mechanisms of the government authorities. It will concern not only economic part of the regional Administration. There was no similar practice in the regions of the country on solving such problems. And it is well-known that front-line activity is difficult. I am convinced that professional and personal characteristics , reach managerial experience in Primorye and educational qualifications will help Mr. Verkeyenko and his team successfully reach this goal. Big, intensive but very interesting and important work lies ahead» – the Vice-Governor Sergey Nekhaev, administrating new Department stressed.

Remind that changes in the management system of the regional Administration were launched by Vladimir Miklushevskiy already in 2014.
