
Championship of the Far Eastern Federal University rowing indoors (indoor rowing) for the first time will be held on campus on the island of Russian February 20-21. Students, undergraduates and graduate students of the university will compete in the new discipline on unique simulators — rowing ergometer «Concept», informs «Pacific Russia».
The organizer of the championship is the School of Art, Culture and Sports FEFU with the support of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports and the Primorye regional federation of rowing.
Participants will compete in two ranges: 1000 meters — for the team members of the university rowing 200 meters — for beginners. At a short distance, anyone can try their hand at a new discipline, applications will be accepted until the start of the competition. Pre students are encouraged to work out in the fitness center S2 (red FLC).

Start will be given on February 20th at 16:00 in a large multi-purpose hall of the sports center FEFU (body S, the third level). The composition of the panel of judges will include specially invited representatives of the Russian Rowing Federation.
As noted Ligachev Albina, the championship is aimed at popularization of rowing in Primorye and Far Eastern Federal University, revealing the strongest sportsmen for completing high school team and improving sports skill athletes. Indoor rowing competitions have already been in a number of cities in the world where developed boating, including in London, and at the end of the championship in FEFU possible to compare the results of the University beginners with other rowing schools.
