Russian authorities intend to start in September 2015 to carry out in Vladivostok East Economic Forum, to the draft presidential decree, which is available on a single portal of draft regulations. «Set that East Economic Forum held annually in the city of Vladivostok. First Eastern Economic Forum spend 17-20 September 2015,» — said in a document prepared Minvostokrazvitiya, informs «Pacific Russia».
The Forum aims to promote the development of the Far East, its economy and investment activity, as well as to strengthen international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, according to the draft decree.
In a message to the Federal Assembly in December 2013, Russian President outlined the development of the Far East and Siberia as a priority development in the XXI century.
First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said that the government is considering to conduct an annual export Vladivostok international forum aimed at increasing the export potential of Russian regions in the Asia-Pacific region.
