The IV Russia-China Forum on Near-Border Tourism between the regions of the Far East, Eastern Siberia of the RF and the North-East of the PRC will be held in Primorye in October, informs «Тихоокеанская Россия», ТоРосс.

According to the Department of International Cooperation and Tourism Development of the Primorsky Territory, the Forum events will be held on October 7 and 8 in the FEFU campus in the Russkiy Island.

The representatives of the Russian Border Services Agency, the PRC Tourist Authority, the frontier and customs services of two countries, government authorities, touristic organizations, insurance and transport companies, mass media will participate in it.

The main goal of the Forum will be creating and development of tourism industry as significant industry for the border regions of Russia and China.

The participants, in particular, will discuss establishing of supporting environment for the tourist exchange development, improving of regions investment attractiveness, a possibility of charter flights opening between Primorye and the North-East provinces of China.

Also presentation of tourist tours will be conducted in the framework of the Forum.

We remind that tourism development is one of the prioritized directions in Primorye. The Head of the region Vladimir Miklushevskiy had set a task to increase tourist flow to the Territory up to 10-12 million people.
