At the XII International Festival of the Asia-Pacific region «Pacific Meridian» (Vladivostok, 13-19 September 2014) will be showing a special program, which will include works by famous Chinese documentarian Wang Bing. This was told by the curator of film festival Andrey Vasilenko broadcast television program «One time to see» to «Public Television of Primorye.» Wang Bing considered one of the best artists in China, which leads chronicle of the life of the country, informs «Pacific Russia».

Wang Bing was born in Shaanxi in 1967. He is the founder of his own production company, which produces his documentaries. Chinese director on the account, according to IMDb, 18 awards to various international festivals, including Rotterdam and Venice. So, in 2012, the band «Three Sisters» was awarded a special jury prize at Venice festival. The first film directed by «Tesitsyuy: To the west of the glands — Part One: Rust» was released in 2003.

Andrey Vasilenko added that perhaps Wang Bing’s films will be shown in a special area (outside the theater). It is also planned to release a special catalog with texts of researchers dedicated to the film by Chinese director. According to him, this directory will be a very interesting publication.
