Выжимание лавового потока на юго-восточный склон купола вулкана Безымянный 8 апреля 2023 года
Произошедшее на Камчатке в начале апреля сильное землетрясение могло стать триггером извержений вулканов Безымянный и Шивелуч, сообщает пресс-служба Института вулканологии и сейсмологии ДВО РАН, информирует «Тихоокеанская Россия».
«Сейсмические волны, проходя через магматическую колонну, передали в нее дополнительные резкие энергетические импульсы. Вследствие этого произошло расширение огромного количества пузырьков газа в магме, что привело к критическому увеличению объема расплавленного вещества в колонне и реализовалось на поверхности в виде мощнейших извержений», — приводятся в сообщении слова директора института Алексея Озерова. Его цитирует «Интерфакс».
Землетрясение магнитудой 6,9 произошло у берегов Камчатки 3 апреля. В отдельных населенных пунктах оно отозвалось толчками силой до 6 баллов. В Петропавловске-Камчатском в результате некоторые здания получили повреждения.
Извержение вулкана Безымянного произошло 7 апреля. Столб пепла поднялся на 12 км над уровнем моря.
Сильная фаза извержения вулкана Шивелуч началась в ночь на 11 апреля. К шести утра она достигла максимальной интенсивности, произошел пепловый выброс на высоту 20 километров. Пепловое облако преимущественно распространялось в западном направлении. В Усть-Камчатском, Мильковском и Быстринском районах Камчатки прошли пеплопады (наиболее сильные — в Усть-Камчатском районе. В ближайшем от Шивелуча населенном пункте — поселке Ключи пеплопад был самый сильный за последние 60 лет). Школы и соцучреждения района во вторник не работают. Два местных населенных пункта из-за вулканического пепла несколько часов были обесточены.
Извержению Шивелуча присвоен наивысший — красный код авиационной опасности.
