Фёдор Михайлович Морозов родился 3 июня 1946 г. в Барнауле. С 11 лет посещал различные изостудии.
В 1965-68 гг. обучался в Заочном народном университете искусств (педагог Иван Семёнович Чуйков).
1965-68 гг. – служил в советской армии.
В 1968-72 гг. – обучался во Владивостокском художественном училище.
Выставляется с 1964 г. С 1974 г. – член молодёжного объединения при Союзе художников России. Член Союза художников России с 1990 г.
В начале творческого пути большое влияние на художника оказал мизерабилизм – направление, представители которого декларировали трагическую обречённость человека в мире (от франц. miserable — несчастный). В целом, в основе творчества Фёдора Морозова – постоянный формальный эксперимент.
Его живопись — это практическое исследование различных течений постимпрессионизма и постмодернизма.
