Beekeepers in Primorsky Krai already got the bees from the premises for the winter. Favorable weather allows to gather this year to 5,000 tons of honey, informs «Pacific Russia».
The regional Department of Agriculture said that in some areas have already started bees spring overflight.
«In the southern regions have already started bees collect pollen from willow trees blossomed. In the northern district of small workers are only now begun to overflight. This year, in the case of favorable weather, we expect to receive up to 5,000 tons of honey», — noted in the department.
So, in 2013, beekeepers in Primorye produced more than 4 million tons of honey.
The department also stressed that the region already registered a number of companies that go with honey on foreign markets. Taste sweet «medicine» local production can not only Primorye, but residents of Asia-Pacific countries — Japan, China. Primorsky honey corresponds to the Chinese and international standards.
Already, products from local beekeepers harvest last year — honey and wild plants — can be purchased at an agricultural fair, which runs every weekend in the Central Square of Vladivostok.
November 27, 2013 in Primorye adopted a law «On beekeeping in the Primorye Territory». Inhabitants of the region, received a document that establishes the legal framework for breeding, maintenance and use of honey bees, bee products producing.
The new law regulates relations in the sphere of the state support of beekeeping in the Primorye Territory, safeguard the rights and interests of people working in this industry.
