Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) became a site Pacific Style Week (PSW). Here settled Directorate international fashion project PSW, which was first held in May last year. Second Vladivostok «Fashion Week» will be held in Vladivostok, 24-31 May 2014. Its organizers — Vladivostok State University of Economics and Administration of Primorsky Krai. PSW participants will at least 400 people — professionals creative industries in the region. Expected no less than 12,000 viewers the widest possible audience, informs «Pacific Russia».
According site project, in the second program of the Vladivostok fashion week — again fashion shows, workshops of famous fashion designers, hairdressers shows, lectures, seminars, «round tables» on fashion and style, presentation of new beauty-brands, avant-garde performances, photo session, the business program with the participation of representatives of apparel manufacturers and retailers.
Four professional contest project PSW — «Day of young designers», «Supermodel APR», «Master-style», «Pacific View» — traditional and self-help and development professionals and aspiring professionals creative industries Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai.
The program includes two new events. This «promo tour of Primorsky Krai» — to identify coastal residents «remote», dedicated and gifted in all areas covered by the project. And business program «Business-pool», which will offer participants and spectators not only «see» fashion, but also a «buy» and «sell».
General producer Julia PSW Barhanova stated that Pacific Style Week — is not an empty and pathetic event is broadcast the cult of consumption of luxury beautiful things. The third innovation concerns the theme of the event:

In the modern, classical, folk, avant-garde and hundreds of other manifestations of the theme of Russian culture will be realized through the prism of talented designers, fashion designers, photo artists, stylists, fashion historians. In addition, on May 25 as part of Pacific Style Week held advanced «Russian Day», where we will present our culture the most expressive means of fashion, music, multi-media, dramatic and choreographic arts. Coupled with the crafts fair crafts festival and Slavic cuisine, this event can generate additional attraction for Russian and foreign audience.
I want to emphasize that although the Pacific Style Week — this luxurious, beautiful show, collects all the secular and glamorous elite of the region, but, nevertheless, our initial goal was to develop creative environment in the region and raising the status of the artist, the creator. People are tired of surrogates and mass culture has greatly advanced layer of people looking for the authentic, true acts of creation and their highly results, people striving for perfection and self-development, including through creativity.
Vladivostok Fashion Week sees its main objective to create a platform to promote our regional designers creating truly beautiful, unique designer clothes, and combining disparate groups into a single copyright fashion industry. This benefits and designers themselves, and the final consumer.
All the main events of fashion week (opening and closing ceremonies, the main shows and contests, lectures and seminars stars) still take place in the territory VSUES. Other notable events under the auspices of Pacific Style Week will take place in many cultural and social center of Vladivostok.
