
Today, March 24, was signed an Agreement on Cooperation between the Center for Export Development of the Primorsky Territory and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), informs «Pacific Russia».
As Nikolay Dubinin, the Director of the Department of Economics noted this event is important not only for entrepreneurs but for the Primorsky Territory at whole.
“The Republic of Korea is our strategic partner in external trade and investments attraction. Joint cooperation in the framework of the Agreement will encourage our small enterprises to enter the market of the Republic of Korea” – he said.
Nikolay Dubinin reminded that the Governor of the Territory Vladimir Miklushevskiy became the initiator of the creation of the Center for Export Development. It points to the fact how important is small and medium business development for the Head of the region.
The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Vladivostok Lee Yang-Goo also noted the importance of the event.
“ The skill to be leader is deemed to be the key quality of our businessmen and it also belongs to the administration of the Territory. I hope that the Center for Export Development will take the key place in the development of business relations between Primorye and Korea” – he underlined.
The Agreement was signed by Roman Glushak, the Director of the Center for Export Development and Kim Ha Neul, the Director of the Commercial Department of the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Vladivostok.
“We give considerable prominence to the cooperation with Korea. The first business mission of our Center was connected with this country, the cooperation with trade and economic zone Donghae became the result of it.
Mr. Kim Ha Neul in his turn expressed confidence that the cooperation will be productive.
“It is the beginning of a big deal which, I am sure, will yield tangible results” – he said.
The second series of B2B (business-to-business) meetings between businessmen from South Korea and Primorye was held after that.
We remind that the Center for Export Development was created by the initiative of the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevskiy as the element of the system for business enterprises support in the region. The Center’s task is to help businessmen from Primorye to enter international market. It is the search for business-partners, the assistance in exhibition and nundial works, help of lawyers and interpreters.
