Already this summer people of Primorye will be able to use a charter flight from Vladivostok to Niigata. This was announced during the meeting of the Director of the Department for International Cooperation with a delegation of Economic Research Institute of North-East Asia «ERINA» (Japan), informs «Pacific Russia».

Alexei Starichkov, the Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Tourism Development of the Primorsky Territory noted that a direct flight from Vladivostok to Niigata will further good relations.

«The number of direct international flights from Vladivostok is growing. This increases the number of tourists and relations in the sphere of business are developing dynamically» — he said.

Alexei Starichkov also noted the contribution of Japanese investment in the development of Primorye.

«In 2013 was recorded inflow of foreign investments, their value is more than one billion U.S. dollars. Japan dominated in the structure of foreign investment at the first time» — he told.

Fukuda Katsuyuki, The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Niigata, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, «Fukuda Corporation» Executive Officer said about Japanese side’s interest in developing relations with Primorye.

«Relations between Niigata and Primorye quite strong, it will be strengthened and further developed. In VI Russian-Japanese Investment Forum, which would take place in the second half of March, businessmen of Niigata will also participate. They are ready to make a number of investment proposals for the Primorsky Territory» — he said.
