Монгольские дзерены во время зимовки исследовали новые территории Забайкальского края, отдалившись от границы с Монголией дальше чем обычно, сообщает минприроды края, информирует «Тихоокеанская Россия».
«В Забайкальском крае этой зимой произошла самая глубокая миграция дзерена. По предварительным данным, в степях перезимовали примерно 100-120 тыс. особей. Точные данные будут известны после научной обработки результатов учета», — говорится в сообщении. Его приводит «Интерфакс».
В конце зимы для учета дзеренов сотрудникам Даурского заповедника пришлось выезжать не только в традиционные, родные для дзеренов места (Борзинский, Забайкальский и Ононский районы), но и в другие.
«Есть сведения, что дзерены практически дошли до поселка Первомайский Шилкинского района, села Аренда Оловяннинского района и села Южный Аргалей Агинского района. Животных также зафиксировали у заказника Акшинский в Акшинском районе и национального парка «Алханай» в Дульдургинском районе», — приводятся в сообщении слова директора Даурского заповедника Алексея Черепицына.
В настоящее время стада монгольских антилоп пускаются в обратный путь — началась весенняя миграция к местам отела. В отличие от осенней — массовой и волнообразной — весенняя кочевка более размеренная. Дзерены возвращаются на территорию Монголии разными группами — от нескольких сотен до небольших табунов — с марта по начало июня.
Крупные стада до нескольких тысяч особей можно встретить только у серьезных преград, например, рек. Здесь антилопы скапливаются, выжидая благоприятный момент, чтобы перебраться на другой берег.
За последние несколько десятилетий в Забайкальском крае удалось сформировать оседлую группировку дзерена численностью примерно в 10 тыс. особей.
